There have been numerous planning applications for large scale windfarm developments in Caithness, and it would appear that the anti wind lobby are gaining strength.  However, CREF's mission is to promote all technologies.  CREF aim to have a presence at public meetings about wind farm developments and other renewable events, both local and national. The Forum has non-political stance with regard to large scale wind farms.
